Full Truckload (FTL) shipping, a truck moves a full trailer load of a product from your company from the origin to the destination. In Less than Truckload (LTL) Freight, shipments move from the origin through multiple terminal points before arriving at the consignee’s destination.

LTL is cost-effective for shippers and manufacturers both. No need to hire a Full Truckload at 50 feet for only a few pallets.

LTL offers operational flexibility. For example, in some cases we can schedule and complete pick-ups within two hours. This is a benefit for “just-in-time” manufacturers who do not need warehouse space to store finished products. We have a partnership with a manufacturer that has 600,000+ square feet dedicated to making their product.  They use less than 2% of their building for staging and lower operations costs.

LTL transit times allow for cross-country moves within a week, or sometimes a few days more. National LTL (Less than Truckload) carriers cover most of the United States in 7 transit days or less.

LTL technology improves workflow efficiency through streamlined pick-up requests, automated tracking updates, document retrieval and batch freight invoicing.

LTL freight is handled several times throughout the shipping process.  This  if the product is correctly packaged and palletized. Therefore, a Pallet or Crate is required by all our LTL Carriers.

While LTL transit times are like other modes of transportation, expedited and air freight shipments arrive faster than LTL.  These methods may be appropriate for time-critical shipments.
