Hello & Happy Early Spring from – Jane Barnett and The Shipping Emporium. We are in Central Virginia, and as a 3PL We can help to pick up and deliver your Freight, anywhere in the USA and (possibly) Canada and US Territories.
We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce our company to yours as we are local and/ or we have already introduced ourselves. We’re SWAM and Micro-Business Certified and may be a good fit for your Business.
During the Coronavirus Outbreak (Covid-19) as you are already aware that the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared this (Covid19) a “Global Pandemic”. This may affect some of our customers. We have received notices from all of our Carriers who do interact with customers are committed to training and following the CDC’s recommendations for – Handwashing, using alcohol-based hand sanitizers and distancing when possible. At this time our Carriers’ are all fulling operational for pick-ups and deliveries in ALL 50 States and we’re on the “Essential Businesses” list in states that are on Mandatory Lock- Down for Non Essential Businesses (currently- About half of the 50 States are temporarily closing Non- Essential Business,) However, The Shipping Emporium and our Carriers are open for “Business as Usual” and for transportation between the USA and Canada as well.
The only requirement for our Carriers to pick up and Make Deliveries for you during this “Lock-down” in most states until April sometime- Is that Both The Pick up and the Destination Business’ need to be open to Load or Receive Freight!
We’re fully operational and if you need to have a pickup for your LTL or TL freight, please let us know by phone or email any time!
At the Shipping Emporium, as are our Carriers. During this pressing time, all Carriers that we are doing business with are doing all that we can to maintain service excellence and to make sure that your goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner as much as possible!
