For LTL, if you are shipping certain goods frequently, you may have a Freight Class and NMFC code that applies for you shipment. In addition, and with some Freight Classes being Density-Based please always provide in FULL, your Shipments details- weight for every pallet, dimensions (length x width x height in inches) and weight per pallet, so that we can help you to determine the correct class.
The Freight Class System Created by NMFTA (National Motor Freight Trucking Association) is commonly used by some carriers.
